Share your wins this week! (No matter how small)

Sometimes we're so focused on the struggles that we forget to celebrate progress. What went well this week? Did your kid remember their lunchbox? Did you manage not to yell during homework? Did bedtime happen in under an hour? Share it here — every win counts!

My daughter came home from school and said "I'm feeling really overwhelmed" instead of melting down. She NAMED the emotion! I nearly fell over. We sat on the trampoline together for 10 minutes and she was fine. Two weeks ago that would've been a 45-minute meltdown.

My 11yo completed his homework independently for the first time EVER. I was sitting nearby (body doubling) but didn't prompt once. He even checked it himself. I may have done a victory dance in the kitchen afterwards.

Had our IEP meeting (thanks for all the tips!) and it went really well. The teachers were genuinely supportive and we came up with a great plan together. Biggest win: they're going to let him use noise-cancelling headphones during independent work.

My win is for ME this week. I stopped myself mid-yell, took a breath, and said "I'm getting frustrated. I need a minute." Modelled regulation instead of losing it. My daughter's face when I walked away calmly instead of escalating — priceless. We can learn new patterns too.
