I have a 5 year old daughter, just finished her reception year. I feel we’ve had this question mark over her for a while and now we are pretty convinced she is neurodivergent. Masks all day at school, emotional outbursts after school, socially can be awkward, if you’re playing in her world she is cool - the second anyone changes the narrative she’ll meltdown. Flapping during overwhelm, excitement, meltdowns (improving with age) - tip toes from time to time, when younger it was more prominent. Sensitive to sounds or tight clothing. Unable to help support her during the meltdowns - nothing is working parenting wise. Also have a 3 year old who does not appear to be neurodivergent so trying to manage both of their different needs in terms of discipline, boundary setting or regulation is different which causes us confusion as we struggle to have a clear way of managing their behaviours - any advice? Sorry for long post
